Pamela Meyer has been my personal decorator/consultant since 1991. She has worked on personal and business projects for me over the years. Her direction and advice has been invaluable. Her professionalism and expertise has been impeccable.

It did not take her long to determine my particular tastes and style so that when she presented me with layouts they were tailored to me and I raraely needed to adjust anything. She would only bring me choices that she knew I would like, which made it so much easier for me and my time constraints.

Recently Pamela took charge of a complete remodel project for me of someone else’s home. She took note of their old home interiors and took that theme with an updated look and turned the new home into a stunning showcase, yet it was familiar and comfortable to the people moving in. She is the best!

I was not really looking for an interior decorator when I met Pamela Meyer. I needed help with space planning for a room we were adding to our home. The room was to have multiple purposes so space planning had become a key issue. Pamela was recommended to me by someone who had worked with her on another project and felt she could help us.

Pamela looked at the space which, at that point, was in complete construction chaos and came back with three alternative plans. How she could visualize the space when it was such a mess remains an amazing accomplishment. One of her proposed space plans was similar to what we had been thinking but two were completely different approaches. That was our first insight into Pamela’s creativity.

Based on that very positive experience we asked Pamela to help us with our interior design needs for the room. Pamela worked with my husband and I in a very collaborative and positive manner. She was very clear as to her point of view or design preference but was always willing to listen to our thoughts and opinions. Pamela understood our objectives and challenged our thinking if she felt we were drifting off course. She was not satisfied until all of the details had been addressed and agreed. Pamela influenced the room using her wealth of knowledge and talent without any pretense. She “uncomplicated” the process which seemed overwhelming to me.

It is easy for me to say that Pamela is a fabulous interior designer but she is more than that. She is also a coach, a cheerleader and a friend.

What I most appreciated from working with you was your continuing patience with me. We worked together for over a year and I really needed you to be so patient. I needed to sort out the various”looks” over time and couldn’t be rushed in my decisions. I never felt pressured to hurry up just so that your time could be spent with someone else. You always made me feel like I was your most important client!

I also appreciated the fact that you always made things “right”. We had a couple of funny thngs happen along the way but you always were consistent in making sure that I got exactly what I was supposed to get.

Design Works is amazing. Pam decorated our home in its entirety when we built it four years ago. Her ability to accommodate our tastes and understand what we wanted was absolutely phenomenal. She was timely in giving us options so the home was decorated and furnished at the time when the home was complete so we could immediately move in and not have to wait for the details. She has exceptional taste and creativity in window coverings, which I continue to receive compliments from guests in our home. Pam was very knowledgeable of the construction process and kept to a tight schedule to allow the home to be built without delaying the builder.
